JR’s Bar & Grill, one of the gayborhood’s favorite watering holes, is planning a New Year’s Eve party on Pacific Street! The bar’s Mardi Gras themed 21+ New Year's Eve Party kicks off at 4 pm. This cover-free bash will feature music from resident DJ Atreyu Frausto, who will be playing all of your favorite beats & a special NYE 2026 countdown. The event will also feature a champagne fountain and midnight toast, beads, serpentine, hats, noisemakers, and superb vibes. Michael’s Outpost has a party that is sure to be a drag—in the best way! Local queen and entertainment extraordinaire, Violet S’Arbleu, invites all to ring in the new year at Michael’s Outpost for a night of live entertainment and celebration. A combo of drag performances and live singing kicks off at 9 pm at the bar on Richmond Ave. and concludes with a complimentary champagne toast at midnight to welcome 2026 to the stage!
Secret Society presents “NYE 2026” at Montrose Country Club! Taking place on Wednesday, December 31, from 10 pm to 2 am, this 21+ Great Gatsby-themed bash will be the perfect way to ring in the new year. This exceptional upscale experience is curated just for Houston, complete with a balloon drop, CO2 cannons, and more. Table reservations will be available, tickets are available online, and free entry is available before 11 pm with an RSVP. Neon Boots Saloon & Dance Hall is boot scootin’ into the new year with their 2026 NYE Celebration! Taking place on December 31 from 7 pm to 2 am, the historic dancehall on Hempstead Road invites all for a night of dancing, karaoke, drink specials, and more. Advanced general admission tickets and VIP tables are on sale now (prices increase at the door). Let the good times roll and welcome in 2026 at South Beach! The Montrose nightlife staple is throwing a New Orleans Mardi Gras themed bash complete with beads, hats, horns, noisemakers, male dancers, and more. Award-winning DJ Joe Ross will provide tunes and vibes throughout the night's magical journey to outer space. Partygoers will enjoy Houston’s best light show, lasers, confetti cannons, liquid ice plumes down from the ceiling throughout the night, and more. Guests who arrive before midnight receive their own personal chilled small bottle of champagne for them and their guests to enjoy at the stroke of midnight. A ticket for this is given at the door with the purchase of admission and must be redeemed before midnight. A cover for the 21+ event of $10 is required between 9 pm and 10 pm, and $20 after 10 pm. 13 Celsius, the beloved Midtown wine bar and cafe, is celebrating its 19th anniversary on New Year’s Eve with a party for all to enjoy! 13 Celsius is keeping things classic with a simple, come-as-you-are New Year’s Eve and Anniversary Party. No prix-fixe menus, no dress code, no theme. The full wine list will be available all night, and the kitchen will remain open until 1 am, serving a few special dishes. A festive selection of Champagne and sparkling wines by the glass, half, and bottle has been curated for the festivities.
