The Broad’s Way

Hosted by Regina Thorne-Dubois every Monday at 9 pm, The Broad’s Way has stolen the hearts of musical theater lovers for almost a decade at Michael’s Outpost. Houston’s only Broadway revue boasts a talented cast of bonafide performers and singers, blending a mixture of drag queens, drag kings, and local talent at the mic. The setting at Michael’s Outpost on Richmond Avenue offers an intimate setting for gathering with other show tune queens for a night at this local favorite show. Bring your posse, your dollar bills, and enjoy!

Snatch’d

Reign Larue is the supreme hostess at one of Montrose’s top gay bars! For over three years, Reign has brought some of Houston’s top talent to the stage with Snatch’d, her show at Ripcord on Fairview. “The Diva of Houston” and “Mothaaa” of the House of Reign has made a name for herself as one of Houston's most fierce performers, but her shows at Ripcord are truly where she shines the brightest, alongside her fellow performers.

Drag Events at Star Sailor

Queen Brunch

The party kicks off in East Downtown every third Saturday at Chapman & Kirby for Queen Brunch with doors opening up to 30 minutes prior to showtime at 12 pm. The monthly drag brunch event includes themed performance, featured drinks, and an all you can eat brunch buffet! Promising performances by some of the most talented queens in Houston, Queen Brunch requires a reservation and themed dress is highly encouraged! Spots fill up fast, so book early!

Drag Brunch at Winnie’s

Looking for amazing food and drinks, and an equally sensational drag show as well? Look no further than Winnie’s in Midtown! Hosted by Queen Persephone on Sundays with shows at 12 pm and 2 pm, this show has garnered a loyal following and continues to delight newcomers to drag as well! Bring your crew and get ready to enjoy a shrimp po-boy, some incredible musical numbers, and a menu of original cocktails from the Winnie’s crew! The audience participation portion is an audience favorite and real crowd pleaser—you won’t want to miss it!

Brunches at Boheme

Boheme, the eclectic Montrose hideaway, offers a weekend full of drag realness and amazing food and drink! First up is Saturday Drag Bingo. Get ready for games, music, drag performances, prices, delicious food, and much more. Cost to play is $28 per person, which includes unlimited buffet and bingo cards. Hosted by the insanely funny drag queen Carmina Vavra, Houston’s most outrageous comedy drag show takes place on Thursdays at 9 pm. Featuring a resident cast of queens and kings, Laugh Track promises a night of  nonsense, tomfoolery, and buffoonery for all!

Barcode’s Weekly Shows

Scan no further! Barcode  has all the drag you could ever want! With a weekly rotation of daily drag shows, it’s impossible to list just one worth checking out. Whether it’s Sunday’s “Queer Cabaret,” “Vicious Voices Karaoke” with Tanya Hyde on Tuesdays, “Thirsty Thursday” with Lana Blake, or any other show in the lineup, you can rest assured that you won’t be disappointed if you happen to wander into Barcode for some libations and entertainment.

3D Sunday

Eagle Houston

Drinks, dancers, and divas—oh yas! Sunday Funday is fierce, honey, thanks in part to 3D Sunday, the weekly drag show at Eagle Houston. Hosted by the stunning Alexyeus Paris, the party kicks off at 7:30 pm. upstairs in the Phoenix Room. Featuring a wide variety of entertainment, this show brings together some of Houston’s most eclectic and talented queens for an evening that will help you get the start of your week off on the right foot every time!

Millennial Dolls

Need something to look forward to on Hump Day? South Beach has you covered every Wednesday with Millennial Dolls, hosted by Reign Larue. Doors open at 9 pm, well drinks are $1 all night long, and DJ Atreyu Frausto will treat you to new tunes starting right at 9 pm. Millennial Dolls starts promptly at 11 pm. This award-winning show will keep you on your toes with energetically intoxicating performances by the drag performers. Sunday Service at Rich’s

Let us bow our heads and slay! Rich’s hosts Sunday Service weekly, and that is something to rejoice and be glad about in our book! With shows happening at 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm, you can rest assured that, rain or shine, the show will go on. With a rotating roster of drag hosts, including Blackberri, the “Bearded Beauty of Texas,” this show is set in one of Houston’s most popular gay bars, and features the incredible food stylings of Executive Chef Diego Chiarello. Pearl Bar, Houston’s only lesbian bar, hosts a bevy of drag entertainment throughout the week.
