With spring and summer approaching, there isn’t a better brunch spot in Houston than Emmaline. With a gorgeous patio and floor-to-ceiling glass windows, this European-influenced American restaurant is tucked away in the in the Montrose area not too far from Buffalo Bayou Park. 

The airy ambience was inspired by the popular restaurant The Ivy in West Hollywood and includes four separate dining areas, including an antique-adorned bar, lounge-style space with secluded booths, and a sunroom with gorgeous views of the surrounding areas. 
 
The warm, neighborly vibe isn’t the only reason to visit Emmaline. Executive chef Dimitri Voutsinas cooked up a menu that is sure to please everyone. For starters, brunch goers can choose from sea scallop carpaccio with winter citrus and pink peppercorns, asparagus and prosciutto and daily meat and cheese charcuterie boards. Classic brunch favorites like eggs Florentine and the house eggs benedict are elevated and served alongside items like the wood-fired cioppino biano and a creamy stuffed French toast that is worth losing your summer body over.  

Diners can order specialty cocktails to sip during brunch or choose from Emmeline’s extensive wine list. There are even three wine flights for vino lovers to choose from. 

The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and stays open until midnight on Friday and Saturday. On Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., local DJs spin music making this a great way to start off the weekend. On Sunday, brunch starts at 10 a.m. and the restaurant stays open until 9 p.m. Reservations are recommended.
