Houston’s Thread resale shop is anything but your typical children’s consignment boutique. Inside, the light-filled shop caters to a fashionable clientele interested in a curated selection of clothes by Mini Boden, Zutano and Hanna Andersson, among many others.

Nestled in the heart of The Heights, the locally-owned shop opened in March 2011 and has been catering to what it dubs “little threadies” ever since. Stop by and browse the store’s selection of maternity clothes (Paige Denim and Joe’s Jeans are often lining the racks), before perusing baby gear by names like Ergobaby, Baby Bjorn and Maclaren. To keep tabs on Thread’s latest arrivals, follow the shop on Instagram, where fans can reserve and pay for items, as they hit the shop floor.

Thread is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.
