After enchanting the Dallas-Fort Worth area with their first two outposts, restaurateur Shannon Wynne and his partners, Keith Schlabs and Larry Richardson are bringing the creative burger concept, Rodeo Goat Ice House, to Houston.
Located in EaDo near downtown, guests will find menu items named after famous local personalities, a dedication to craft beer, a spacious dining area and a huge outdoor patio. Wynne is dedicated to sourcing only quality beef raised at 44 Farms, located in Cameron, TX.
Patrons rave about the mouth-watering Chaca Oaxaca burger, a beef and chorizo burger with avocado, pico de gallo, queso fresco, Tabaso mayo and a fried egg. Prefer something a little lighter? A (small) selection of salads are also offered and a beef or chicken patty can be added to fulfill that protein craving. Desserts include a variety of milkshakes, pies and “Goat Balls,” which are obviously fried balls of brie served with blackberry compote – whew.
Rodeo Goat is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday through Saturday 11a.m. to 12 Midnight.
