This Phoenix-based restaurant has opened a new location in the space that was once the iconic Montrose Mining Co. Postino Montrose features a chill vibe with artwork, open seating and a funky Montose sign outside its doors. Enjoy a drink from Postino’s approachable wine and beer program, which has been carefully curated by advanced sommelier, Brent Karlicek. Every day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., guests can get wines by the glass and pitchers of local brews for $5. The wine menu also includes some 40 wines and 30 local and domestic beer selections, including craft drafts from local breweries like St. Arnold’s, Live Oak, 8th Wonder and Spindle Tap. Postino’s food menu offers a variety of shareable plates and café fare that will pair well with your wine or beer. Expect snacks like spicy Marcona almonds, 12 varieties of bruschetta, including brie and apples with fig spread, and sweet and spicy pepper jam with goat cheese. If you’re looking for something more substantial, choose from their selection of healthy salads and paninis. Postino also serves brunch; don’t miss the country toast with Italian ham and ciabatta french toast with berry preserves. Postino WineCafé is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Fridays from 11 a.m. to midnight; Saturdays from 9 a.m. to midnight; and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
