Pluckers is the place to come to find spicy, crazy-hot buffalo wings and an ice-cold beer while soaking in more sports than thought possible. The Austin-native sports bar and restaurant opened its first Houston location in The Heights area, at 1400 Shepherd, in 2013. Since then, the company has successfully grown to have six more locations in the Greater Houston, bringing tasty wings to communities in Memorial City, Webster, Cypress, Stafford, Pasadena, and Meyerland.
The menu features chicken wings served with 16 sauce options, including Dr. Pepper and Buffalo Hot. Those who love a good challenge, order and eat 25 of the crazy-hot “fire in the hole” wings and earn a coveted spot on the Wall of Flame. Sick of spicy? There are plenty of lip-smacking options, like teriyaki, lemon pepper, and honey BBQ.
Though wings are the specialty here, there is an assortment of options, including burgers, sandwiches, and salads. “Pregame” warm-ups like fried pickles and macaroni and cheese are just a couple of fan favorites.
Something in the sauce keeps wing lovers coming back for more, which is why regulars can become card-carrying members to take advantage of discounts and specials. For example, every 100 points earned gets you $10 off your next purchase.
When visiting any location, always look for the special offers and discounts of the day, such as All You Can Eat Wings, Kids Eat Free, All You Can Eat Buffalo Bites, and many others.
A couple of University of Texas students created the tasty wing bar in their dorm room. The first storefront opened in 1995 and has since spread to several cities in Texas and Louisiana. In 2024, the company reported 31 regional locations.
USA Today named Pluckers one of the "Top 10 Wing Restaurants in America" and ESPN ranked it one of the "Top Sports Bars in North America".
