Located in the heart of Downtown Houston, Osso & Kristalla is a modern Italian trattoria owned by Houston Astros owner Jim Crane. Osso is across the street from Daikin Park and next door to the more upscale Potente, which is also owned by Jim Crane.
It’s fitting that the restaurants are so close to where the Astros play since baseball is a great family pastime, as is gathering around the table to enjoy a meal. In keeping with the importance of family, Crane named the restaurants after his three children.
Osso & Kristalla is open for lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and happy hour and focuses on using only fresh and local ingredients. The kitchen is overseen by Executive Chef Danny Trace. Lunch offers salads, wood-fired pizzas and pasta, and brunch boasts homemade pastries, Katz Coffee, and healthy omelettes.
