If you thought Houston already had its fill of creative taco joints, it’s probably because you haven’t visited Liberty Taco. The spot unfolds just inside the loop, along Richmond Avenue, where fans find a popular destination for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Set in an understated strip center, Liberty Taco is clean and contemporary inside with metal Tolix-style seating, mod pendant lighting and an eclectic mix of black and white cartoon sketches hanging throughout. Before snagging a table, stop by the counter and place an order for globally-inspired tacos like the Kogi, a sesame-marinated ribeye that combines napa slaw and kimchee aioli, or the Caribbean Chicken with spicy jerk chicken, fresh mango, sour cream and cilantro. Classic breakfast tacos are also served all day breakfast.
Liberty Taco is open Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
