Hando seeks to redefine the sushi handroll (temaki) trend with its 22-seat sushi counter for business in the Heights. Salmon, Toro, or a variety of sushi-grade seafood cuts are wrapped in the cylindrical seaweed tube, meant to be picked up by hand (of course). These are best eaten immediately when placed in front of you, for maximum freshness.
Upon arrival guests are greeted, handed a menu, then ushered to a communal, U-shaped counter facing the bar. While wine, sake and cocktails are available, the focus is on the food and intended to be an in-and-out experience (given the limited number of seats).
