Entrepreneur Shawn Bermudez continues to expand his reach in the Houston market, one Westheimer Curve spot at a time. After successfully launching several inner loop businesses including Royal Oak Bar & Grill, Boondocks and Pistolero’s, as well as overhauling resale shops Taxi Taxi, Leopard Lounge, Blackbird Trading and Pavement, Bermudez opened Stones Throw in summer 2014.

Located in a former beauty supply store, Stones Throw welcomed an extensive renovation that made it the eye-catching space that it is today. Towering ceilings and an expansive, 17-foot bar mix with gothic and wrought-iron accents. Upstairs, balconies extend above the main bar offering a perfect perch for people watching. On the drink menu, guests will find specialty cocktails, local brew on draft, wine and bubbles.
