State Fare Kitchen & Bar
A repeat performance for State Fare Kitchen & Bar, this time in Sugar Land Town Square. The restaurant known for its Southern comfort food in its second location will offer what it calls “upbeat Southern cuisine.” From H-Town fried chicken to Haring’s fried catfish, this is the place to satisfy your hunger in so many ways. With more than 70 made-from-scratch dishes, the diverse menu includes burgers, steaks, salads, chicken and seafood surrounded with sides that speak to your Southern sensibilities like whiskey-glazed brussels, Hoppin’ John rice, coffee cup cornbread and wait for it… fried green tomatoes dressed with lump crab meat and jalapeños. If you have a thing for down-home classics with a twist, you will think you’ve landed in food heaven.
State Fare is an easygoing, kid-friendly place that welcomes families, whether dining-in or taking out. Larger family meals can be ordered from a menu designed especially for those weekend get-togethers in the comfort of your own home.
The kitchen doesn’t close early at the Sugar Land location; a “Late Night” menu will tickle your taste buds with items like dill pickle dip with house made BBQ potato chips, chicken & waffle tacos, biscuit sliders and the popular State Fare Breakfast Plate with two eggs, spicy bacon, house made sausage, hash browns and a cathead biscuit. And if brunch is your magical meal, you don’t want to miss weekends at State Fare with its griddlecakes, avocado toast, biscuit sandwiches as well as the standard menu favorites.
