Being one state over from Louisiana means that Texas gets lots of amazing Creole and Cajun fare. Now Houston has it’s own Neyow’s Creole Café. Originating in New Orleans, the heart of Creole culture and cuisine, Neyow’s offers a true taste of Louisiana. Known for their delicious char-grilled oysters and BBQ shrimp, it’s impossible not to savor the flavors of each dish. For other Creole-inspired options, the filé gumbo is a delicious full of shrimp, crabmeat, smoked sausage and ham over rice. For some of their entrées, enjoy red beans and rice served with your choice of sausage, fried chicken or grilled pork chops. There’s also the shrimp Creole with shrimp sautéed in Neyow’s famous spice Creole sauce. No Creole menu would be complete without po-boys, another New Orleans staple, which is fresh French bread stuffed with fried oysters, shrimp or even sausage and roast beef.

Neyow’s has plenty of weekly specials that will have guests running in for a casual lunch or dinner. Specials depend on the day of the week, but include red beans, jambalaya, white beans, po-boys, smothered pork chops, smothered chicken, BBQ shrimp, ribs and more! The atmosphere is causal, so guests can drop in to sit at the bar and enjoy a dozen oysters or bring the family for a meal. Enjoy watching sports on one of their many televisions with a cold beer.
