A Northern Italian café and coffee bar fits in perfectly with the modern look and feel of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. Located in the Beck Building, MFA Café features a European-inspired coffee bar and extensive menu of authentic Italian cuisine.

Paolo Fronza and Matteo Alessandri, former owners of Fellini Caffe in Rice Village, opened the restaurant as part of the MFAH’s five-year $450 million master plan renovation. The menu at MFA Café focuses on fresh, local ingredients for traditional favorites like Prosciutto e Arugula pizza, Vitello Tonnato, caprese salad, and toasted paninis with Italian meats and cheeses. The coffee bar offers freshly brewed gourmet drinks including frappes, cappuccinos, espressos, lattes, and smoothies. The café also offers a full children’s menu with fun mix-and-match options.

Guest have the option of sitting at the coffee bar or communal dining tables. Tables are equipped with charging outlets and Wi-Fi for patrons to snack and lounge. There is also a street-level entrance on Binz Street for guests to visit the restaurant outside of museum hours.
