Mellow Mushroom

Mellow Mushroom, the Atlanta-based pizza joint, unveiled its second Houston-area location in fall 2016, delighting locals that eagerly awaited the restaurant’s arrival. The spot turns out handcrafted pizzas, sandwiches, salads and calzones, along with a solid beer line-up.

Inside the 5,215-square-foot space on Shepherd Drive and 19th Street, guests will find a cheery expanse that’s awash in bold green, gold, blue and red accents. Grab a seat inside or on the patio and dig into piping-hot spinach and artichoke dip or a refreshing spinach salad, before moving on to specialty pizzas like the pesto-based magical mystery tour with portobello mushrooms, spinach and jalapenos. Other fan favorites include the kosmic karma with sun-dried tomatoes and pesto swirl or the classic mighty meat pizza.  

Mellow Mushroom is open for lunch and dinner, daily.
