Honey Art Cafe
Healthy food and art collide at the Upper Kirby area Honey Art Café. Created by a pair of Rice University grads, the concept combines co-owners Lulu and Lin’s love of food and passion for visual arts.
Set in a strip center, at the intersection of Shepherd Drive and Richmond Avenue, the space is cheerful and modern with vibrant, floor-to-ceiling murals adorning the interior—an inspiring place to eat, work and play. On the menu, all natural ingredients and seasonally changing fruits unfold in everything from smoothies and citrus tea cakes to parfaits and salads. But the food is only part of Honey Art’s appeal, the spot offers handmade goods and paintings, as well as weekly art classes.
Honey Art Café is open Tuesday through Sunday. Visit the website for class information.
