Helen Greek Restaurant

Following the highly successful launch of Rice Village's Helen Greek Food & Wine, Chef William Wright has turned his sites on the Heights, opening a more casual, taverna-style hangout at Helen in the Heights.

Despite being cut from the same Greek cloth, Helen in the Heights is significantly different from the well-known Rice Village spot, focusing on classic dishes like Pastitsio with pasta, spiced beef, tomato, and béchamel; a wide variety of Soulvlakis & Gyros (Lamb, Beef, Shrimp, Pork, and Feta-Brined Chicken); Moussaka and other traditional Greek staples.  The menu also features some of the original Helen hits such as the Greek Village Salad, Shrimp Saganaki, and the Green-n-Cheese Pie. These classic dishes serve as a culinary exploration of modern Greek cuisine.

Helen’s dynamic beverage program will be anchored by a 100% Greek wine list with every bottle priced at $80 or less and all of them available by the glass.
