Located on the edge of the West Gray commercial corridor, The Front Porch Pub is one of Midtown's more popular laid-back destinations.
Away from the bustling night clubs on Washington Ave, this is the place to enjoy a good beer and conversation with friends. A lot of unique character and a relaxed atmosphere can be found in the area’s bars and the Front Porch Pub certainly is one of the most welcoming.
Opened in late 2000, the pub has established a loyal crowd of locals and out-of-towners who all share an affinity for low-key evenings that may include a game of darts or pool. Three porches complete the open spaced bar that, as the owner says, is a mixture of local ice house, handcrafted beers, and the comfort of one’s home front porch.
The full bar offers 37 domestic and international beers on tap, over 40 bottled varieties and if this liquid diet isn’t enough to satisfy your appetite, take a look at the menu. The wide selection includes bar food such as wings, fried pickles and hamburgers but also lists pizza and Tex-Mex choices.
The Front Porch Pub is open daily from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., including the kitchen. Tuesday is also trivia night.
