Cloud 10 Creamery - Montrose

Touted as one of Houston’s best dessert spots, Cloud 10 Creamery’s location in Montrose, right on the border of Upper Kirby, may surprise even the most discerning frozen treat connoisseur. It’s the only ice cream shop in the city with a chef-driven menu. The co-owner is an award-winning pastry chef with many years of experience in the restaurant industry.

This gourmet creamery is beloved for its creative and, at times, playfully odd flavors such as toasted rice, but it definitely gets the classics right — with consistent lines at the counter to prove it. Cloud 10 has a wide range of seasonal offerings as well, like smoky black tea with roasted pear or toasted marshmallow with sweet potato. The Montrose location will also be serving ice cream cakes in flavors such as vanilla bean with almond cake, dark chocolate with bananas, and baked Alaska with Neapolitan ice cream.
