Southeast Asian cuisine makes its way to Houston’s Museum District via Ambrosia—an intimate, lounge-like restaurant known for its sharable small plates highlighting spices from the far east with locally-sourced ingredients.
Tucked away near Shepherd and Highway 59, Ambrosia lures diners with its romantic and softly-lit dining spaces, adorned in South Asian artwork and beautifully-carved wooden doors. On the well-edited menu, guests will find a mix of items including flatbread and sashimi dishes, as well as flavorful meat options like the five-spice steak, grilled lamb chops and Korean barbecue ribs.
Ambrosia is open for dinner, Tuesday through Saturday.
