Collect & Connect: Curve Magazine Archive Celebration
Join The Curve Foundation at Pearl Bar in Houston, as we make LGBTQ+ history!
Funded by a generous grant from the AKR Foundation, we’ll be collecting your copies of Curve magazine and recording your oral histories, all to start a Curve magazine archive as part of the LGBTQ+ History Research Collection at the University of Houston Libraries!
Bring a copy of Curve/Deneuve for the archive and score some free swag!
Oh, and did we mention festivities, food, and entertainment? There will be lesbian trivia, a drag king performance, and nibbles cooked up by Sloan Rinaldi of the Netflix series Barbecue Showdown (Season 3) and fourth-generation Houston Pitmaster!
This is a free event; however, donations are highly encouraged.
